The CSGE Internship Programme is designed for motivated students and young professionals seeking exposure to environmental governance, policy research, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development frameworks.
CSGE offers structured internship opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as recent graduates, in disciplines related to environment, forestry, wildlife, governance, environmental management, biodiversity, research, and allied fields. Interns may be engaged in research support, policy analysis, documentation, stakeholder consultations, event coordination, knowledge products, and field-based assignments, depending on ongoing projects.
Field visits or coordination with partner institutions may form part of specific internships, subject to project requirements.
Eligibility
Applicants must be currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Environmental Studies, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Wildlife Sciences, Ecology, Environmental Governance, Public Policy, Biodiversity, Environmental Management, Rural Development, or allied areas.
Candidates should demonstrate strong research aptitude, analytical ability, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in documentation, report writing, and digital tools is expected. The ability to work independently, maintain professional discipline, and adhere to institutional timelines is essential.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication) is mandatory.

Proper documentation is essential for institutional records and project continuity.
Interns are expected to bring their own laptops. Access to institutional data and resources will be provided as required.
